This dance teacher went viral for doing cartwheels in pink thigh-high boots to tackle bullying!

Dremon Cooper is a 19-year-old from Washington, DC. He’s a dance teacher for an LGBT nonprofit called Casa Ruby.

Cooper told that he’s a goofy person who loves to laugh and make skits and, more recently, created a new superhero character. Cooper says the name of the character is Super Bitch, but fans have started to call the superhero “Him Possible.” The character was created to show that bullying and violence are not OK.

I’m convince those boots have super powers ♥️❤️

i love how in the twilight fandom you don’t have to be an expert

like in most fandoms you’re basically shamed out if you can’t differentiate between the two actors’ buttcheeks but in twilight when someone’s like “hey i haven’t read breaking dawn” most people would probably be like “wow. i wish i were you”

listen i’m not saying i don’t understand why the boycott is a thing. i get the reasoning behind it, but i don’t necessarily think it’s the best course of action. yes, it’s shitty that it’s expensive especially as their first one and of course if you don’t have the money for it you shouldn’t be expected to buy it. yes, the fansign stuff was awful and the management should be held accountable. but the thing about the boycott is that ultimately kpop is a business and capitalism is shitty and by not buying the show all you’re saying is that the cost of production wasn’t worth it because they didn’t make money from it. of course this is shitty but what it tells the company is that day6 making reality shows isn’t profitable so they shouldn’t do it, and therefore we’re even less likely to get free content of this nature. we should be protesting the treatment mydays have been getting, but communication with jype and raising awareness of the situation seems to me to be more important than something that ultimately won’t hurt the company that much financially but will show negative results about day6’s profitability. writing to and calling the company directly, trending information about it on social media, and other manners of actively talking about the issues seems like it would have a more positive impact than a boycott i’m afraid will have a net worth that is ultimately more harmful to day6.

additionally i hope an effort is being made to explain to the members what’s going on rather than simply not interacting with something they put a lot of work into and probably stepped out of their comfort zone to do. i know how i feel when people don’t interact with my hard work, and this isn’t even my career and i don’t have an established fan base. i don’t want them to feel hurt by this, so i hope that people are trying to communicate with them about the issue in any way they can.

and for those arguing it’s coming late in their career and that’s bullshit, day6 themselves initially asked not to be promoted like regular idols. they’re a band and they wanted to promote as such, which is why they did more radio shows early on and only kinda recently started appearing on variety shows like weekly idol. not doing a reality show like the other idol groups in their company may have been their choice or a decision made by the company in line with their style of promotion, so i don’t find this unreasonable timing at all.

these are of course just my opinions and you’re welcome to disagree with me, but i hope all aspects of this boycott and its impact will be considered and that whatever course of action is decided upon something positive comes out of it.
